The fortress-like palace nestled within the dunes of the Empty Quarter, the world’s largest uninterrupted sand desert, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is thrilled to introduce yet another significant leap forward in its commitment to sustainability, aiming to become the greenest desert resort in the world by collaborating with BE WTR for onsite consumable water production.

Recognizing the critical need for sustainable practices in the hospitality industry, the resort has invested in state-of-the-art BE WTR technology to produce high-quality, purified water directly on-site. This innovative approach eliminates the need for single-use plastic water bottles, significantly reducing plastic waste and the resort’s carbon footprint associated with transportation emissions.

The resort aims to produce 1000 bottles of water per day through BE WTR’s bottling water system, and it will be packaged in reusable glass bottles. These bottles are being used across the property’s dining outlets, 207 rooms, suites and villas and more.
