BE WTR completed its third investment round

BE WTR SA, the Lausanne based sustainable water systems brand, has completed a 4 million CHF investment round to accelerate innovations and market launches.
BE WTR is the first premium sustainable water brand aiming to promote more ecological water consumption and to contribute to a better hydration thanks to its technological and design water systems. BE WTR develops and markets water systems for private and professional uses (offices and HoReCa), upgrading local tap water with a system composed of ultrafiltration, carbon active filters, under the counter refrigeration & carbonation units and design taps, allowing on-demand, chilled, still & sparkling water.
BE WTR also develops and operates on-site bottling lines for large hotels and venues, allowing to bottle BE WTR local, filtered tap water in reusable, sealable glass bottles.
No more plastic bottles, waste or unnecessary transport.

In addition, BE WTR focuses heavily on sustainability by participating in the “1% for the planet” platform and is finalizing its B-Corp certification.
Based in Lausanne and with operations in Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, France and UAE the company has over 30 employees and plans to finish the year with 50.
The round was led by current investors; Mike Hecker, founder and CEO; PeakBridge VC and additional funding from Geneva & Athens based family offices.
The funding allows BE WTR to accelerate its product and markets development with a new line of patented, design water systems launched during the summer.
