With BE WTR’s on site and circular, refillable glass bottling plants Accor Group takes yet another important step towards their pledge to eliminate single use-plastics.

We want to transform the way we operate hotels by putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do, says Brune Poirson, Chief Sustainability Officer at Accor. We achieve this through concrete solutions, tools and the implementation of best practices that enhance the guest experience. BE WTR, founded in Switzerland in 2019, has expanded rapidly to span Europe, Middle East, Southeast China and North America. Through our fully circular, automatic, on-site, water bottling plants, BE WTR will equip Accor hotels with premium water in rooms, at cafés and restaurants, pool & sports areas, as well as at the conference facilities. The sleek, smoothly tasting still and sparkling BE WTR in capped glass bottles that can be used for hundreds of cycles, will allow to dramatically lower CO2 emissions compared to classical bottled water solutions.
