BE WTR, the sustainable, premium water company based on your local water, inaugurates its fully automatic and circular bottling plant in Paris this week. The opening gives luxury hotels and high gastronomy restaurants in the French capital a welcomed opportunity to finally serve a high-quality water that is both great in taste and kind on the planet.

“Paris is the tourist and gastronomy capital of the world”, says Mike Hecker, founder of the Lausanne born scale-up that sees a rapid, international growth. “To now be able to offer a water that is at pair with the amazing culinary experiences while respecting the environment is beyond important. Now the famous palaces of the city, as well as the high-end hotels of Group Accor, one of our international partners, are setting the quality and sustainability example for the world to see.

The BE WTR bottling plant, situated in Clichy, in the heart of Paris, will produce up to 1500 capped glass bottles of fresh, crisp still and sparkling water an hour. The bottles are then delivered, and picked up, by electric vehicles, to the clients in the local catchment area. Each bottle can be washed and reused up to 200 times, ensuring a minimal environmental impact.
