As a dedicated member of 1% for the Planet, BE WTR is committed to collaborating with impactful, water-related organizations in the communities we serve. Our goal is to build long-term partnerships that extend beyond financial contributions—we’re all about hands-on engagement, meaningful connections, and plenty of hard work.

Our newest partner is Seven Clean Seas in Singapore, an organization that creates opportunities for individuals from underserved communities to find dignified work in waste management. Their efforts go beyond cleanup—they’re transforming waste into resources. By collecting plastic from rivers, beaches, and villages, Seven Clean Seas gives this material a second life, converting it into roof tiles, bricks, and other essential items.

Recently, our team joined Seven Clean Seas on the beaches of Batam Island, just a 45-minute boat ride from Singapore. In less than an hour, we gathered over 166 kilograms (366 pounds) of plastic. Witnessing the extent of litter, much of it carried in by the tides, was a stark reminder of why single-use plastics must become a thing of the past. We’re literally drenching the planet in plastic—change is urgent.
