UAE: Desalination Updates 🌦️
While microplastics remain a concern, the UAE has begun improving desalination plant processes to better filter contaminants (The Connexion, 2024)
Singapore: New regulations 🌤️
Singapore continues to lead in water safety, backed by rigorous testing and regulations. However, with growing concerns over microplastics, and other pollutants additional filtration systems still offer better water quality and taste (The Brussels Times, 2024).
